Where to stay, book a room.

5 double rooms;
2 triple rooms, sono 2 camere doppie con letto aggiunto;
2 quadruple rooms or two-room apartments, each consisting of 2 bedrooms with a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two beds that can be joined together.

Rates vary based on the period and the number of people. discounts are available for groups of at least 10 people and for minimum stays of one week (min. 20%). Contact us.

Double rooms, from € 50,00 at € 120,00.

Triple rooms, from € 65,00 at € 130,00.

Luggage storage included for arrival and departure; breakfast included in the price; daily room cleaning. The RESERVATION is booking with a down payment – by bank wire transfer – that is 30% of the total, the balance payment is to be paid upon arrival.

CANCELLATION and WITHDRAWAL:

– up to 30 days prior to arrival there are no penalties and the down payment will be refunded;
– up to 7 days prior to arrival the down payment will not be refunded;
– in this case, Casa Schmidt allows the withheld down payment to be used for a future holiday to be confirmed within the next 365 days. The guest must send in a written notification regarding the cancellation.

Vulcano Island.

Vulcano (Hierà), is the closest of the Aeolian Islands to the Sicilian mainland, located 12 nautical miles from the Cape of Milazzo and separated from Lipari by a small channel just about a mile wide. The island is characterized by the overwhelming presence of the Volcano, which is greatly admired by those that visit. The boiling mud baths caused by secondary volcanism are used primarily to cure rheumatism and skin problems. The characteristic odour of sulphur, which is used for respiratory therapy, becomes intense for those that profit from the unique opportunity to trek up to the Crater of the Fossa, an unforgettable excursion where one can see chimney smokers emitting sulphuric vapours.
The beach of the Fumarole, where you can go swimming in naturally heated water and the Black Sand beach at the Bay of Ponente, are highly recommended for those that visit the island of Vulcano..

How to reach Vulcano

TO REACH VULCANO DEPART FROM THE PORT OF MILAZZO BY HYDROFOIL AND ARRIVE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.
FOR THOSE WITH VEHICLES USE THE FERRY BOATS; THE CROSSING TAKES LESS THAN TWO HOURS.
